Charles Midkiff is the Principal and Founder of Midkiff Strategies, a policy analysis and research, public relations, public affairs firm that has extensive experience with international clients and clients working within the scope of the Foreign Agents Registration Act. At Midkiff Strategies, Charles works to provide his clients a comprehensive array of services and strategic advice on issues ranging from legislative and regulatory proposals and rule-making, local and national media coverage and initiatives, and grassroots organizing and coalition building.

 

Before founding Midkiff Strategies, Charles served as a Senior Advisor at LS2group, a firm focused on public affairs, public relations, international counsel, and government affairs. While at LS2group Charles worked on projects on a myriad of topics including USDA regulations, international trade, the intersection of federal policies and business, public diplomacy, and emerging markets and the impact of legislative and regulatory decisions on those markets.

 

Prior to his work at LS2group Charles worked in numerous capacities on political campaigns across the United States. From states as different as Utah, Iowa, and Virginia Charles built and led local and statewide grassroots field programs, fundraising and financial departments, and communications strategies for a diverse cross section of progressive and moderate candidates. 

 

Charles is a graduate of Syracuse University’s College of Law where he received a Juris Doctorate and a Certificate of Advanced Study in National Security and Counterterrorism Law in 2017. He earned his undergraduate degree in 2013 at Radford University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and history, with a minor in economics.
